When I try to download some things, I get an error message saying file does not begin with %PDF. What is that, and what do I do about it?

What are you trying to download, do you have the latest acrobatic reader and what is your exact error message?

Sounds like you need Acrobat Reader, (just like Linkup says) .PDF is an Acrobat file extension.

I do have Adobe. the message I get is; There was an error opening this document. file does not begin with '%PDF-'
There are alot of things I've tried to open. My son goes to Homestarrunner.com and tries to open files, but he gets this message.
Thanks
