Hope this sounds familiar to someone,

I have gone through the malware removal protocol (except the online scan which is impossible) and successfully removed a number of items. Unfortunately not the one that is apparently blocking my LAN. The local area connection status shows as fine (149 packets sent and 79 received in 11 minutes it has been up since restart) but I am unable to connect to anything on the network.

I see some things in the HiJackthis log that look suspicious, but would love to get some additional opinions: I seem to recall seeing the IP address: 603.203.35.55, near the bottom of the log file, flashing in the address bar while trying to access the internet, might be significant. It is possible this is not malware related, but that seems unlikely.

This is now a 3 month old problem which I have worked around for that time but enough is enough.

Thanks.
