Java script Error

While i was on my sister's computer, we encountered a small problem. i had installed iTunes for my ipod. when i had removed it an error message had come up sayin that java script had to enabled. when i went to the internet options page and browsed under java script, it was already enabled. Yahoo mail comes up funny and we are still getting the error message.
Is there any cure?
