Hi all, i recently downloaded a file in a zip format and when I exploded it, I instantly knew it was a virus of some sort. It blurted out some warning about some software not uptodate etc. I ran S&D spybot and was able to remove some oh the infection. However, I think there are still some remnants deep down in my OS. The reason I say that is because when I do Start > Run > regedit > OK, I get a dos command window and then a box saying:
c:\windows\System32\regedit.com
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction
CS:d232 IP:26e2 OP:ff ff 00 00 00 Chose 'Close' to terminate the program.
