Thank you to anyone who care give me some advice on this.
I am not sure how to explain this, but recently my LCD monitor (a MAG Innovision) is not showing graphics correctly. Photos are not crisp, pictures commonly have "outlines" around object, and MPEG movies are blurry, and "missing" textures. It is like my monitor cannot correctly show the crisp, clean graphics it has been since I bought it.
It is not my graphics card (GeForce Ti 4200), as graphics are crystal clean when I plugged in my friend's CRT monitor, and everything is dust free and installed correctly on my motherboard.
Any ideas? I am lost. And I need this for BF2. =)

umm could be a few things. What model MAG is it. I have two 986's. I that I got at different times. The picture looks nothing alike on either... One is just rather poor...

Couple things.

Do you know what artifacts, tearing, dot-crawl/ghosting/bleeding is?

And how much of any of them are you seeing?

Is it better or worse when the screen is first turned on?

Is it just in BF or all games and apps?

What rez are you running in i.e. 1280x1024 @ 70hz?

Nope... not sure what those are. What is confusing is whatever it is, it is caused by my monitor... Atleast I am pretty sure...

And how much of any of them are you seeing?
None, I don't think. Just seems like a very simplified picture, like is refuses to show complex color schemes. If that make sense.

Is it better or worse when the screen is first turned on?
No change.

Is it just in BF or all games and apps?
Anything that requires either video to be played, or any gaming application.

1024 x 768 @ 70hz.

Thanks for your help.
