I came home the other day to find my video card had gone and kicked the bucket. now after a 300 dollar investment (whew) I have the latest in video card mahem. it works great save for one problem. I cant play vids! not a one. as soon as I even click on one it locks up my system and makes teh cpu recources shoot to 100%. I contacted the tech support for the video card company but after going through every driver tehy had, he proclaimed it a "software problem" I have tryed them on every vid player I could think of and all with the same result. any ideas?

Computer:
Emachines (I know I know)
XPsp2
amd2200

AGP I dont know the bus speed I will check it later. and yes it plays 3d games with sound (playing the Matrix online recently, though the music in the game doesnt always work, the sound effects always work witout fail.) and the programs I use to play vids are Windows media player, Divx player, real player, Quicktime, Even tried the Winamp player and all had the same result. cpu lockup.
