iPod/iTunes issues

an iPod and i have heard that iTunes is not offered on Windows 98 if anyone knows a program similar to iTunes or somthing that will help me manage (like itunes) the songs on this thing please tell me.

P.S When i fisrt hook up my iPod to my PC will i need a driver for it ,if so where do i get one
