ADSL VPN Connection Problem

Help please - I can connect to Office VPN from my laptop using dial up modem connection but cant connect going through my Mentor ADSL router at home.

It appears to connect OK - says connected to VPN , sends but appears not to receive any data back!.

I have turned firewall off my laptop but doesn' help
