I'm giving a computer to my mother who prefers Windows, but I have Linux on it right now. How do I wipe out the operating system before giving it to her?

Get a Windows boot disk, you can get them from www.allbootdisks.com, open fdisk, remove all partitions, add an extended Dos partition then format it. What version of windows are you installing? In fact, just go to the post at the top for making a clean install and follow those instructions, but remove all partitions first. :tazz:
