I run XP pro with Firefox. EZ Armour firewall sweet. I can't seem to get this browser that I do love to function properly. I tried uninstalling it through control panel and reinstalling. Same problem. I have tried everything I know. I sure hate to give up this cool browser. Any suggestions form the PROS? :tazz:

thanks-

When you load a theme into firefox it changes the display and the looks of the browser. You can download them from Mozillas website. When I install a theme it defaults to the original settings of firefox when you initally download it.

When I change the settings like...Removing the bookmarks and adding a print icon it will not keep these same settings when I restart my PC.

Another example is when I bookmark websites when I restart they all disappear.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for a reply.

Are you sure you are saving them correctly? Are you downloading them with Firefox?

Yes everything is from firefoxs website. Even putting that aside, when you change the look of your browser by removing bookmarks, adding a print icon, saving bookmarks, all of this should be the same when you reboot. One think this browser does not have that ie does is the locking the toolbar feature. I just don't get it.

I just tried wiping firefox through control panel and then reinstalling it through Mozillas website. Same problem. It defaults back. :tazz:
