HELP! someone. ati 5.6 driver for BF2

I had the 5.6 display driver installed and now after upgrading from Radeon 9550 with 128 ram to 256 ram windows will not let me load the 5.6 driver. It keeps loading the newer driver. I tried to roll back and the old driver is gone! Please help.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. You should be able to find the driver you want at the video card manufacturers web page. Go to http://www.drivercleaner.net/ and get Driver Cleaner (it is free). Then go to add/remove programs and remove the current vidoe driver. Then boot into safe mode and run Driver Cleaner TWICE, each time deleting all that it finds. Then re-boot and install the driver you want. When installing the driver, windows will want to search for the one it likes and install it. Instead of doing that, choose the option to browse to the one you want.
