Unable to run Disk Defrag.

I try to open it an nothing happens........please help........
I am not sure why it won't open but I need to defrag and can't. Can anyone help me out?

Hmmmm...

Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE

Go to processes, then search for the process they looks like Disk Defrag.... (Make sure its you using it and NOT system) Only thing i can think of

Boot into safe mode so that there are no unwanted processes clashing with the defragment, screensaver and virus scans can also interrupt the defragment, if you are using the Windows tool. IF that doesnt work, get an automatic third party tool, once set you dont have to bother about doing this manually everytime.

Try using the "defrag" command in command prompt instead.
