Geforce MX4000 HELP

hey i just installed a geforce 4 mx4000
when i go to play counter strike my frame rate is sitting at 60 and some times drops to 30 shouldnt it be in the 100's? what could be the problem..


SYSTEM:

intel celeron 2000mhz
256 DDR Ram
Geforce MX4000 8X - 128ddr ram

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. Go to http://www.drivercleaner.net/ and get Driver Cleaner (it is free). Go to add/remove programs and delete the currenly installed vidoe driver. Then boot into safe mode and run Driver Cleaner TWICE, each time deleting all that it finds. Then re-boot and install the current driver for your video card.
