Hello all ..
I have had this problem for more than 3 weeks till now, when ever I open a window when surfing the net ... a pop up window comes up on the left upper corner and the right bottom corner with this 680130.net as the address !! I don't know what that is .. and I don't know how to get rid of it ...
Another pop up window has "Web Nexus Network" at the bottom .. all ads and all of this is really driving me crazy ...
If there is anyone who can help me in that I would highly appreciate it ... Thank you very much in advance for any suggestion you might have to fix this problem :tazz:

Hello ...
Yes I still have this problem, and I have been trying to solve it for more than a month now and no luck so far ... But there is also one thing I wanna ask about, sometimes I see there is a program running called "hidden" when I open the performance window "ALT+CTRL+DEL",,,, does anyone know what is this program??

Clear out the files in the Prefetch folder. Go to start> run> type into the box Prefetch and delete all the files in that folder.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items:

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Run Ad-aware se let remove all it finds

Clean out temporary and TIF files. Go to Start > Run and type in the box: cleanmgr. Let it scan your system for files to remove. Make sure all are checked and then press *ok* to remove:

Run killbox and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. For each of the files you could not delete, paste them one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.
The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in whereupon you should answer Yes.

Check the custom settings to your liking under options, but be sure to delete temporary files and temporary internet files for all user profiles. Also, cleanout the prefetch folder and the recycle bin.When the scan has finnished click the close button
When prompted the system will log off to let it clean out the remaining files. when the log screen shows log back on and continue the fix.

I did as you instructed, one thing I would like to mention, while botting up, the Microsift Anti spyware program popped up a window that asked me to block hmlkln.exe from running, now this file should have been deleted by killbox, but it seems that it didn't clean it all ..... Hi Alaeddin

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KavSvc] C:\WINDOWS\system32\hmlkln.exe reg_run
Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\hmlkln.exe reg_runExit Explorer.Reboot as normal.

Download Pocket Killbox and unzip it; save it to your Desktop.
Run killbox and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. Paste the file's one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.
The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in whereupon you should answer Yes.

Let the system reboot.

hello ..
I did EXECTLY as you told me more than 5 times, and this file keeps coming back :tazz:

!!!! I deleted the Temprory Internet files, Recycle Bin... but nothing !!
Whenever I reboot from safe mode to normal mode, I get a msg from Microsoft AntiSpyware program trying to block this hmlklm.exe from adding itself to the startup registry !!

After many MANY attempts to delete that file, I decided to visit the website that all these pop ups come from "Web Nexus Network" and see what will happen ... they had an uninstaller (http://www.web-nexus.net/uninstall.php) ... I actually ran it ... AND THE POP UPS STOPPED !!!! I can't believe that!
Nothing could remove that file, SpyDoctor, Microsoft AntiSpyware, Yahoo, Ad-aware ... absolutely nothing ... just their uninstaller did the job .... Check the HiJackThis log to see for yourself !!
Still, thank you so much for all the help you provided and for your time, I really appreciate everything you did to help me to get rid of this problem. :tazz:
