Ok, here's what you do. You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [OGONUIL] C:\WINDOWS\System32\OGONUIL.exe

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msjava.dll (file missing)
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msjava.dll (file missing)

O10 - Broken Internet access because of LSP provider 'xfire_lsp_8742.dll' missing

O16 - DPF: {8E28B3A9-FE83-45D1-B657-D5426B81A121} (CustomerCtrl Class) - http://cs2b.instants...erxsigned41.cab

Please reboot into safe mode - How do I boot into "Safe" mode?.
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):

C:\WINDOWS\System32\OGONUIL.exe

Reboot your PC.

Next Run Winsockxp Fix

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. :D

Start, run, type msconfig, <enter> Be careful though, if you're not sure then don't uncheck it.

-=jonnyrotten=-

Also you can check your startup folder and the system tray in bottom right hand corner of screen. Go into most any program that is starting up with windows and find the options and there usually is an option to disable it from starting up automatically. If you find something you don't need in the startup folder (start, all programs, startup) just right click it and click delete, this just removes it from the folder, not the whole program.
