MS Office 2000 Installation

Following a suspected Malware attack, I installed ad-aware se and followed the instructions to clean up my PC. This included customising the scan settings to write protect the registry. Due to other issues I have attempted to re-install MS office 200, but this has failed with a variety of errors. Is tis due to the write protect of the registry if so how can I change the registry attributes.

Please close this topic. Following virus/spyware cleanups I was able to install MS office.
