Can anything be done to repair xp without the disk?
Does anyone know about this ....
16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem
path to the program you are trying to run
C:\WINNT\system32\autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. I get that on 95% of the disk I load in the cd rom.
Any help would be appreciated, I am clueless
Thanks

Hi,
Well, if you try to down load like games, things like that you get that.
The computer worked fine, then I got some viruses, fixed that, then this started, took it to a computer shop and he couldn't fix that.
Now I cannot even get on line. It connects to my ISP, but I get page cannot be displayed. ISP said to rerun xp, but I don't have the disk, trying my best to not fork out anymore money on the piece of crap.

This is XP.
What are dos programs??
This is on 1 computer, I had to go rent a computer, that is the one I am on now.
Thanks for the quick reply....

No, I don't know how to do that. I have tried the "repair" button but says I need the disk.
Will that repair it?

Try this link
Extract cab files
Instead of the path being the cd point to the files you found.
It looks like the setup files may be on your computer
