I have a windows XP pro system that had been infected with spyware and virii etc.

I ran Adaware and removed over 100 items, then I ran spybot and AVG free. I found about 12 different virii using AVG but could not remove4 of them. I then used Trend Micros scanner to remove the remaining 4. Everything seemed in order but then I could not open the windows updates page. After some web research I then noticed that I could not open the Computer management in the Admin tools. I really need to get my updates working but dont know much about Hijack or how to solve this problem.

My problem is very similar to the one found on the thread:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
