one day i was using my computer normally and my computer started to choke (locksup then resumes, like load things really slow and freeze). While it did that, it would make a clicking noise, like it was choking lol. so i jus turned off the computer and planned to try and look into it the next day. I turned it on the next day and i noticed Windows took longer then usual to boot up. Plus when it did the window startup sound, it was crackling and popping like it was struggling to play the sound.
This incident happened like 4 days ago. I am getting slowdown problems, before i could multitask (e.g. listen to music while downloading stuff, use msn, play games). Now when i do things like that, i can hear/feel the slow downs occuring like when i download things. when the download completes the music jus struggles to play. i have run housecall, lavasoft ad aware, spybot dd, here is my hijackthis log.
i don't know if it's a virus, a device failure or something else. this never happened before, i am on service pack 2 but i have been using it ever since it was released and worked fine til now.
