I just got a Sony VAIO RA834G and it has the same red, yellow, white slots that are on televisions (it says it's input, not output) and I hooked up a game system... I was wondering how I would be able to play the game system on my computer or if it's even possible since it has a TV in.

those will be the component audio/video inputs. white is audio left channel, red is right channel, yellow is video.
check out the book on your system, it should tell you what the capabilities are. in theory it should be doable, I believe you can watch watch the input (usually tv) "live" through the PC. it is media center, so its all about DVR functionality.
