Being attacked by pop-ups

I have had a slew of problems recently with my computer. Firstly, I had explorer.exe disabling itself, thus rendering my computerscreen with a view of my desktop background.

Now I am getting these popups, I came home to about 100 popups COVERING my screen, and I haven't any clue how they got there.

Two will pop up at a time, followed closely by a third, and when I close one, another will pop up. I have done the usual, run ad-aware. Spy bot....toolbar cop...

I also seem to have about ten or 15 rundll32.exe running in my processees list, and I know this is not nateral, and extra IEXPLORER'S running as well. Also, randomly, my windows will de-select themselves.

Hi Pyrating,

Please unzip Hijack This and copy it into a new folder c:\HJT. This will enable HJT to create backups and save them, to be used if necessary !!!!!!

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP, or Service Pack 4 if you are running Win2k. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.

*Please go ]here (Microsoft website) using Internet Explorer ( not Firefox or any other browser as they won't work)
*Click on "Windows Validation Assistant"
*Click on the "Validate Now" button.
*Be patient while the ActiveX loads, do not click on any links.
*Read the instructions on this page while it's loading. You will be prompted to install - click YES.
*Enter your product key then click "continue"
*When it says "Validation Complete" please click "Continue to return to your previous activity"
*Copy what it says and paste it here.

ok, I cleaned out Aurora (this is the 3rd time I've had it...But I might be back later with it again....) and got most of the pop-ups. But I seem to still be having trouble installing the windows update.

when I attempt to install (i worked out the other problem, so now it actually attempts to install,) It errors and says I don't have 'cryptographic' enabled, however, according to my Services.msc, I do have it enabled, and ready to run.

*sigh* my computer has one problem after the other. Now MSN is acting weird(I can't seem to see my contacts), but I'm not going to bother with that at the moment.

While we understand that you may not have been aware, your copy of Windows is not legitimate. Unfortunately, we are unable to help you any further on this site, as we have a strict policy we adhere to in only helping people who have legitmate copies of Windows. Thank you for understanding.
