I have run all the spyware programs I can think of running and I think I am still infected with the Notify Dll Hijacker (among other stuff). Any help with analyzing my HijackThis log would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi DurangoDAWG and Welcome

The first thing that has to happen is get Windows Updated to SP1!

Just open Internet Explorer and Click Tools then Click Windows Updates!

Run MSCONFIG and enable everything in the startup area. To get to MSCONFIG, click on Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG -> click OK!

Under the "General" Tab
Make Sure Normal Startup is Checked!!

Click Apply>>OK>>Follow the Prompts to Restart!!

Post a fresh HijackThis log!

I would have sworn I downloaded and installed all the updates, but they were not there. I know have SP2 and all updates and it looks like it is gone, but here is my HJT log. Could you please check to see if there is anything lurking in it. Thanks

2nd Post>> MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)

Still appears to be some uglies in there!

Are you aware of this Program

C:\Program Files\Orenosp\orenosp.exe

Please get Ewido Updated!

Download and Install CleanUp! 4.0
http://downloads.ste...p/CleanUp40.exe

Right-Click Here and Click "Save As" to download DelDomains.inf to your desktop.

Right Click DelDomains.inf on your desktop and select "Install"

It will perform a silent process>Give it a minute to run!

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)
Here is a link on how to boot into Safe Mode:
http://service1.syma...src=sec_doc_nam

After restarting in Safe Mode,Configure Windows to Show All Hidden Files and Folders, this must be done after restarting in Safe Mode!!

Here is a link to help with that
http://www.bleepingc...showtutorial=62

Be sure to follow the directions that apply to your Operating System!

Locate and Delete the following if they exist

C:\WINDOWS\SYSfit.exe<< File

C:\WINDOWS\System32\tibs3.exe<< File

C:\WINDOWS\System32\ngjjja.exe<< File

C:\Program Files\180solutions<< Folder

C:\Program Files\Cas<< Folder

C:\Program Files\DR_S<< Folder

C:\Program Files\Common Files\tsa<< Folder

Open the Search Assistant(Click Start>>Click Search)
Select All Files and Folders,
Select Advanced Options,
Make sure there is a check by these 3:

Search System Folders
Search hidden files and folders
Search Subfolders

Now under All Files and Folders, enter this into the text box:

TIBS3.BAT
and
dsoesrv.exe

Delete any exact matches of those 2 files!

Open HijackThis and put a check by these but DO NOT hit the Fix Checked button yet!

OK,looking better but still a few things to take care of!

Be sure Windows is showing Hidden Files!

Locate and Delete these

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\UpdInst.exe<< File

C:\Program Files\Cas<< Folder

Now Click Start>>Run>>Type in CMD and Click OK!

Now type in cd\ and hit Enter

Copy&Paste the line below into the Command Prompt Window

del \dsoesrv.exe /a h /s and Click Enter

Open HijackThis and put a check by these but DO NOT hit the Fix Checked button yet!

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Ywp7RWaFh] dsoesrv.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [CAS Client] "C:\Program Files\Cas\Client\casclient.exe"

Now Make sure ALL WINDOWS and BROWSERS are CLOSED and hit the Fix Checked Button!!

Install these 2 programs

SpywareBlaster:
http://www.javacools...areblaster.html
Update Immediatly!

IE Spyad:
http://www.bleepingc...showtutorial=53
There is a direct download inside and great tutorial also!

Run one more Online Scan here
http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/

Post those results along with a fresh HijackThis log and let me know how the PC is running!
