Everytime I CTRL+ALT+DEL I get an icon of taskmgr at the taskbar.. Besides the taskmgr problem, other errors occur such as, clicking links on AIM, browsing for files to send thru AIM, MSN, attaching a file with email or forums. I get not responding error with all of these tasks, and I end up having to end tasks. But the wierd thing is when I restart, I can do these things for the first 5-10 minutes.

My HJT log is here

I followed all the steps but I found nothing!

specifically, I wanted to see the taskbar icon...wanted to see if there was anything unusual about it.

I took a quick look at your log and didn't see anything obvious, so I am trying to move ahead incase there is nothing there...if I recall, you cannot maximize it from the taskbar?
