hey,
i've just got san andreas and it comes up with an error message saying:

Error: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

what does this mean? and how can i fix it?

ok i have fixed this problem but now everytime i go into the game it says GTA_SA.EXE has encoutered a problem, how can i fix this?

Give more details, like how did you fix the I/O problems .. and be more specific on what your error is saying..
