After installing the latest round of MS updates ( KB883939, KB897715, KB893066, KB896422, KB890046, KB896358, and KB897715) and subsequent reboot when I fire up Outlook 2000 I mouse over it and the cursor dissapears or eventually (30 min. or so) get an hourglass. Also, another application I use called WinAxe (an XServer app.) is extremely slow when starting an Xsession to a Linux box - although Xsessions to Solaris boxes seem Ok. I immediately thought one of the updates was the issue and stared removing them one at a time (in the order of the above list). After removing KB896358 everything started working. Has anyone else seen this?
