hi there iv build a new pc and updated xp to sp2. it has only the basic programs installed

how do i get a log of the blue screen as it only stays on for a second and pc reboots

could be in game or surfing the net or anything really... but there is no point in me going into detail about my spec or anything till i could find out how to check what was the blue screen.......


its gotten to the stage i jus watch ss of bf2 as i cant be bothered to play for a while and have to reboot:(

The only place that I know of where you might find it would be in Event Viewer:

right click My Computer>manage>event viewer system, application

The following may keep the blue screen up till you decide to reboot:

control panel>system>advanced>startup/recovery

uncheck auto reboot
check, write an event to system log (event viewer)
