Office 2000 updates

I have a Sony Vaio with office 2000 pro preloaded (no cd supplied)
I am trying to update through office updates and am asked to supply the installation disk as file data.msi needs to be accessed.
The file is not available on the Vaio recovery disk.
All useful suggestions gratefully received

office update aks yo to supply the installation disk when it´s going to install a service pack, when yo do it from office update, it only download the updates that yor actual office instalation need, asuming that yo have the instalation disk, try to download the service pack3 complete, follow this link:
