Are you having any continuing issues with your PC ?? We just have 2 small things to take care of -
Run Hijack This and click on scan. The following items need to be fixed -
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = about:blank
Close all windows other than Hijack This. Check the boxes next to above items and click on Fix checked.

there seems to be no problem right now.
and the computer got a lot faster too!
although im afraid that the hukjmn.exe file still remains in the system32 folder. is the replaced hukjmn.exe going to cause any problems?

i'm aware that the hjt log didn't indicate the presence of the file but inside my system32 folder, the file still remains. and i'm also aware that killbot placed a substitude for that file [and the substitude doesn't mess around with the registry]. what am i supposed to do with that file now? is it alright for me to delete it at the moment?

Yes, you can delete the file !!!!
In case you have problems in deleting the file, trying deleting it in the Safe Mode
