Hi. I ran through your instructions running cleanup, adaware, spybot, trend housecall, updated and then rebooted. It seemed to work alright for a while and suddenlly something started downloading it self and the pop ups returned. I reran everything but the pop ups have returned. Also when I ran trend housecall both times it said something about a navidad worm being removed. I've been trying to get rid of these things for sometime and would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:

Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

Please download Nailfix from here:

Download Process Explorer from http://www.sysintern...ssExplorer.html

Run Process Explorer and find the Process in the list of Processes.
Select the process wioefu or c:\windows\system32\uxyzqom.exe and click Process > Suspend.

Then in HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete a file on reboot...
In the explorer Window select the file
c:\windows\system32\uxyzqom.exe
When prompted if you want to reboot click YES
Leave Process explorer running with the process suspended.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Please double-click Killbox.exe to run it.

Select "Delete on Reboot".

Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

Run a scan using Ewido, save the log.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Please double-click Killbox.exe to run it.

Select "Delete on Reboot".

Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\exp.exe

Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

Make sure to reboot back to save mode.

Run a scan using Ewido, save the log.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.
