So I've transported my recording desktop from my house to my bus. I didn't do anything to the system, all I did was unplug everything, carry it to the bus and plug everything back in. Now it's running slow. I'm using a firewire recording interface called MOTU 828mkII and it can't sync up with the audio stream because the processing is too slow. Adobe Audition takes minutes to load the session files rather than seconds and I can't figure out what the problem is.

MoBo: ASUS P4S800-D
RAM: 1.00gb
CPU: 3.4ghz p4
HDD: 80GB IDE, 200GB SATA
