In the past I've always bought premade computers from Dell, HP, etc. However, wanting to save money and get the parts that I want (ie- not some crappy video card like the Geforce MX that came with my last computer), I've decided to build my own. Now, while I'm not a total computer newbie, as I said, this is the first time I've built a computer, so I don't know if everything will fit or not. Below is what I have so far, all found at New Egg. So, what I wanted was a computer that could play the new games at decent framerates with pretty good resolutions and anti-aliasing, all under $100. The only thing that I'm keeping from my old computer is the 19" flat LCD monitor.

Why dont you put there names on rather than lots of links so you can just look at it and see what the parts are, as most of us wont need all the added spiel from newegg which is as slow a website as ebuyer.
You know if you have an old pc with xp you can use the windows liscence and such from that and just install it from whatever disc you can aquire or borrow. As you have a liscence for one pc so if you dont use the other anymore you can put it on the other legally.
And you might want a new monitor as the old 19 inch will have a poor response time and at high fps you wont see i difference because of the ghosting. For a cheap 19" low response time monitor check out the samsung 913.

I made som changes to bring it down to $881. I decided to not spend as much money on a better 6600 GT, because I'll try and upgrade to a 7xxx series by Christmas. And about buying Windows XP, my old computer was made by HP and all I have are recovery CD's. Those won't work, will they?
