Since a couple of day I experience nasty popups. At startup, I get asked to be directed to a site where I do have to pay. Once every miinutes, I get a popup.
Sometimes a windows askes me to install Aboxinst.exe

When I run Spysweeper, I see Elitebar is on the computer, but when I delete it, it seems to be installed already again a few minutes later.

This is my hijack log

Hi diedhart and welcome to the Geeks to Go Forums.

My name is Trevuren and I will be helping you with your log.

1. Go to Geeks to Go
. Click on My Controls at the top right hand corner of the window. (make sure you have signed in first)
. In the left hand column, click "View Topics"
. If you click on the title of your post, you will be taken there

2. Also, while at the My Controls page, check the box to the right of your post and then scroll down.
.Where it says "unsubscribe" click the pull-down menu and select "immediate email notification"

3. We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.

Regards,

Trevuren
