2x and 1x give power calibration errors...so all I can do is 4x...I'll burn another on 4x and hope for the best. what else could be going wrong here?

I burned another one and it burned fine but the computer still won't boot with it. I have no clue what to do at this point. I think I'm done for tonight...tomorrow I'll call emachines and best buy and ask if they have something they can use to boot with (there's a chance). Thanks for your help and feel free to suggest anything else for me to try tomorrow.

my guess is the pc is not set to boot to the CD first/
