Earlier today, my desktop changed to a "Protect your computer from Spyware" HTML page. I deleted the page, but now my desktop is white, not wallpapered, and turns beige when I run my mouse over it. Now long before now, an icon called PSGuard appeared. I used Find Target on it from the properties screen, and it seems to have installed itself without any cooperation on my part. Can I have some help with this?

Post a log as a new topic in the Malware Removal Forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
