I got hit by multiple things at the same time. Along with oneclicksearches coming up on my IE everytime I open a new window, I had Anti-virus gold for a while too. I got rid of that... I think.. using an old set of intructions that I had for updatesearches. But I guess I missed a step.

Ad-aware, Spy-bot, and CWS haven't done much to help the oneclicksearches but have caught a few other things and fixed them.

Here's my log.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP, or Service Pack 4 if you are running Win2k. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.

Sorry for the delay. I tried to install pack 1a but I couldn't. Same thing happened when I tried service pack 2 a few months back. I'm pretty sure its because I originally had WinME and a buddy gave me the XP pro... now that I look back 4 yrs ago that probably wasn't the best thing to do.

So if you would help that would be great, if you don't think it will be benificial I understand. I just got my new laptop system in today that will be my primary computer, so this computer won't be as apt to get new viruses if you could help me get rid of the stuff thats currently on it.

Thanks.

I ran a similar set of instructions from one of the other members with a similar problem.. Killbox, HJT, Dell domains, hoster and clean-up. Seems like it has worked so far.

Here's my new log. Any further advice besides trying to get the service packs intalled?

Ya'lls site is awesome by the way and keeps thousands of computers running, thanks.
