Let me know how it's running once the updates are installed and your system has been rebooted! :tazz:

If it's running good, then all we will have to do is clear restore points to clear bad guys out of system restore and give your system a fresh start on it! ;)

That's the only thing left!

Only do this when you're sure you're not having any problems :tazz:

1. Turn OFF System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Yep, that's all :tazz: Your log looks great! ;)

Now, my recommendations for keeping your system clean!!

Detect and Remove Programs:
  • Ad-Aware <= If you suspect that you have spyware installed on your computer, here are instructions on how to download, install and then use Ad-Aware. I recommend installing and running Ad-Aware periodically.
  • SpyBot Search and Destroy <= Prevent (if you enable "Tea Timer") and remove spyware. Similar to Ad-Aware, I strongly recommend both to catch most spyware.
Prevention Programs:
  • Spywareblaster <= SpywareBlaster will prevent spyware from being installed. You download and install the program. Open it, choose "Enable all protection" and that's it! You never have to run it, you won't even knows it there!
  • Spywareguard <= SpywareGuard offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts.
  • MVPS Hosts file <= This is simple, but very effective! It prevents your computer from being directed to well-known spyware sites!
  • Google Toolbar <= This toolbar is awesome - it blocks pop-ups well - which is very important when trying to prevent spyware!
