Hello Lew,

I thought I opened your topic back up, I guess I didnt. Lets start from scratch on this post. It looks like things have gotten worse. We will try to do this fix without long breaks, that way you wont get reinfected.

Things look fairly bad in your log, it will take me awhile to get a fix ready for you. I will have something for you tomorrow by the afternoon. Sorry for the delay, I just do not want to miss anything.

Lew,

Lets get started on a fix!

Step - 1 Downloads

Please Download the following programs:

Download the Host Here
Please do not use program yet
Unzip Host to your desktop

Download CWShredder here to its own folder.
Update CWShredder* Open CWShredder and click I AGREE
* Click Check For Update
* Close CWShredder
Please download "Del Domain" from here:
http://www.geekstogo...=download&id=40
Extract the Deldomains.inf file from the .zip file you just downloaded. We will use this file later when we are in safemode.

You have the latest version of VX2. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune....oads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads....org/l2mfix.exe
Save the file to your desktop

Download all of these programs to a location that you will remember. Then unzip them to your desktop, if they are a zip file.

Step - 2 VX2 Log

Double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Step - 3 HiJackThis Fixes

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.
