Hi.

I have microsoft outlook 2000. We keep outlook open all the time so when a new email comes in a notification will either pop up in system tray.

When we send an email to the user in question, if you look at the inbox folder, the new email does not appear.
To get the new email to appear, we have to click on another folder (such as outbox or sent items). it then updates the frame and shows the new message.

does anyone know if this is an outlook problem, an MFC problem, a .net problem, or a windows system file problem? I'm trying to figure out what i need to reinstall or do to fix this.

Thank you!
