If the motherboards memory voltage is rated at 2.5 to 2.85 does this mean I have to use the bios to set the voltage integer between 2.5 and 2.85 depending on what voltage my rams meant to run at?

Say my ram had in the specifications bandwidth 2.75 volts. Does this mean ill have to use the bios to put the motherboard memory voltage up?
