This is freaking me out, I've allways been very cautious with the internet and very seldom had problems with viruses and bugs that I haven't been able to handle.
During a download with BitLord1.01 I suddenly noticed my firewall/antivirus was shut down. I use the ZoneAlarm Security Suite, and keep it up to date at all times.
I never open any download without first testscanning for viruses and malware.
I try to restart the application and it shuts down again, prompting true vector is shut down and do I want to load it again. This causes me to pull the plug and check anything I can think of. In the windows joblist WkDstore.exe is using half of the CPU, and I've never seen this process before....
A search on google directs me to various forums and sugest it's some hijacker
involved.

Download Pocket Killbox and unzip it; save it to your Desktop. We may need it later.

Download Ewido Trojan’s and malware remover http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
This setup contains the free as well as the plus-version of the ewido security suite. After the installation, a free 14-day test version containing all the extensions of the plus-version will be activated. At the end of the test phase, the extensions of the plus version are deactivated and the freeware version can be used unlimited times. The purchased license code of the plus version can be entered at any time.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Run Ewido full scan. Save the scan.log.

Clear out the files in the Prefetch folder. Go to start> run> type into the box Prefetch and delete all the files in that folder.

Run Ad-aware se let remove all it finds

Clean out temporary and TIF files. Go to Start > Run and type in the box: cleanmgr. Let it scan your system for files to remove. Make sure all are checked and then press *ok* to remove:

Check the custom settings to your liking under options, but be sure to delete temporary files and temporary internet files for all user profiles. Also, cleanout the prefetch folder and the recycle bin.When the scan has finnished click the close button
When prompted the system will log off to let it clean out the remaining files. when the log screen shows log back on and continue the fix.

[bleep], I forgot to set the system to show all files, otherwise I've followed the instructions, but can't seem to find the Ewido log, even so it has quarantined 4 files. The activescan has found 1 suspiscious file as well, and I've reported it to panda. Apparently there is new updates to windows as well, ticking in on the puter...
What do I do now? Should I install the windowsupdates and run the full procedure again, so we can get all the logs and stuff, or what?
