Please set your system to show
all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items:
O23 - Service: ewido security suite control - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\ewido\security suite\ewidoctrl.exe (file missing)
Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

C:\Documents and Settings\Bernell\Favorites\Finances & Business<--Delete this folder

Please run the following free, online virus scans.

Hi Thatman,

Trend found no infected files. I removed the folder and fixed 023 in hijack this.

That panda scan has me a little confused is MyWebSearch and New.net in the registery
Will need to check this out.

Your HJT.log is clean.

I just searched again and found an entry for each of those this time. I will delete them and run panda again. If made a mistake somewhere before I apologize for wasting your time. I will post back when panda finishes.

I have searched and searched the registry and I can not find New.net yet panda finds it as soon as it start the registry scan. That is however the only item that if finds now.

Hi Thatman

I ran the trend scan. It found and removed about nine items. I didn't write them down and didn't realize that it wouldn't allow me to save a log. The dell support wizard also came up today and let me know that I had a trojan horse. It said that it repaired it. I went back and ran panda again and it found something different.

You will find this tool half way down the page:
Please download the Registry Search Tool from this link: http://www.billsway.com/vbspage/
Uzip the tool and run it.
Now in the search box: copy and paste the following items search for : MyWay

If it finds any registery key for MyWay save the log.

If none are found then you don't have MyWay on the system

Post back let me know
