I have a sony vaio 505DX laptop. Over the past month i started having problems when I powered on. It kept switching between battery and AC power. This happened only sometimes and stopped a minute after switching on. I had the system checked and was told that there is a broken wire in the ac adapter, which was causing power fluctuations. I have purchased a new adapter, however now, the audio sometimes breakup when I play music, and the wireless connection keeps breaking up and coming back on after about 10-15minutes(it is a centrino processor with an integrated wirelessl card). My ethernet connection doesnt break up though. Could these problems be caused by my using the faulty power supply too long or is it a problem with my OS? Does anybody have a solution for these problems?

Fully charge the battery, remove the AC adapter.
Run the laptop, do the symptoms persist?
