I apologize if this was answered elsewhere, I couldn't find it at first glance.

I just purchased a new computer. The Windows Media Player works fine with music CD's and DVD's however I cannot get it to play videos online.

I was on CMT.com and everytime I try to play a video it tells me I do not have the Media Player and must download it.

Any suggestions? Dell wants $49 to solve this for me. I don't think so :tazz:

Thanks!

Sounds to me like you might not have the right plug-ins installed. Assuming you use IE, you can open IE and click 'tools' then 'manage add-ons' to see a list of what you've got.

Try http://www.wmplugins.com/ for Microsoft Windows Media plug-in downloads.
