Stuck, windows XP did its own download of SP2, I had about 1 gig available at the time. The process stopped when it ran out space and now I can't figure out how to recover the space. What and where are the files that it left behind?

While I am at it, I need some advice on how to adjust the partitions with out starting over. Sony Vaio sent a replacement drive with 15 gig on C and 41 on D. Well C has nothing left.........HELP.

The download stopped, or the upgrade to SP2? SP2 checks for disk space before it installs, so it would be odd of the upgrade failed becuase of disk space.

To resize your paritions without losing data you'll need a third party program, like Partition Magic.
