WINDOWS xp >>Now a days i am facing a unique problem in my machine......today i tried to install the sygate firewall but it actively refused by quoting an rash message >>"the windows installer could not be initialised either the installer is busy or it's files r missing"
So anyone up their to solve my little prblem.......it would be of g8t help.....

Repairing by this way is a bit long process and too big for this small file....it'll be a huge welcome if you would give me a small solution and an efficient one tooo:p

You're going to have to be more specific. You installed, then uninstalled SP2, and now a Sygate firewall will not install correctly? See Post #2, and if that doesn't help, try Post #3.

Keep your XP firewall ON in the meantime.

Actually while uninstalling the sp2 i uninstalled every thing which came in that update . Now i can't even install a firewall or anything which requires msiexec.exe....it's quite maniac problem ....plz hlp

Follow the directions from MS.

msiexec.exe is the Windows Installer, and yours apparently is not working properly, which explains why the firewall will not install.
