I've this problem when I tried to uninstall some m.soft programs like Office, Project, Antispyware.. It says :

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly Installed. Contact your support personel for assistance".

Now.. I'm not running in safe mode. How can I get the Windows Installer install all over again?
Please help.
Thanks.

Thanks All. I guess I've no choice but to upgrade to SP2.. I thought this should be the last resource.
But, anyhow, thanks for the adv. I did now. And the installer works now. :tazz:

Cheers All.
