Kernel panic

I am in dos and type armed.bat and then it says:

Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 07:07

and then i can't do anything

i am trying to install Armed Linux on my Compaq Presario 1925

HELP PLEASE

Seems as though the bootloader cannot find the root partition.

Do you have a linux rescue/boot disk you can use to access your system? You will need to verify that Grub (/boot/grub/menu.lst) or Lilo (/etc/lilo.conf) is pointing to the correct boot partition."
