Help! where is my recording device and sound?

I cannot find my recording device and there is no sound on my notebook.

one minute it was here, then it disappear.

Please assists. thanks! ;)

you probably have to add the hardware again, go to the control panel and then add new hardware wizard and follow it through, you must know your brand and brand #

you have to run the add new hardware wizard for both sound and recording
hope this helps, it did for mine
