when i put viruses in the quarantine, how do i delete them? the option to "heal" them is greyed out and none of the other options sound like they would help.

double click on the icon in taskbar, then scroll down until you see virus vault. click on it and you will then see a button to empty virus vault

but when i empty it, are the viruses gone? or do they simply go back to where AVG found them?

that's what i've been debating
