Hey, I'm back... and agian I've managed to do something weird. I've got my task bar [I think that's what it's called anyway... the term was never important to me] in some strange kind of fix. The taskbar shape itself seems to think I'm at a lower resolution. It's larger (fatter), and the icons in the tray are oversized. the text is all the same size however... so the start icon and text are in an oversized button (the start menu shows the same symptoms) and the clock realizes it's got extra room and now displays the day of the week...

I don't know how it started... I don't have any clue how to start fixing it.

and I'm not doing a system restore.
